Dee-Jay and Jean: Two Hearts Beating As One

According to some statistics the ratio of men and women is now at 1:7. Which leads to women finding a hard time finding the right men for them. Which gives men, an opportunity to choose. But you see, when it comes to love, this statistics is meaningless. Because if two people are really meant for each other destiny and circumstances will work miracles for these two people to meet at the right time and place.

I really don't know Dee-Jay and Jean's love story. I forgot to ask although we talked about other things including their upcoming wedding. But I am basing my entry from what I have observed. Although we'd become so engrossed directing and instilling some ideas into the shoot, I'd observed how they act toward each other. They were comfortable with their sweetness and I was always fascinated everytime they would share a laugh.

We started off with a lot of confusion about our meeting palce and I was actually starting to worry that when we finally see them, they're already irritated. And I was happy to see them actually smiling. Such a happy couple. It seemed like nothing could make them upset.

While Dee-Jay was changing clothes, we went right ahead Jean's solo shots. Again, I was amazed how easily she became comfortable in front of the camera. I asked a lot from them and they never complained and I think at some point I made her back uncomfortable but she still went ahead with it. To make the story short, they were easy to direct. Love really is a factor. Just look at their eyes and you''ll know what I mean.

Wilmer and Vilma Prenup Session: Taking Chances

Of all our clients it were only Vilma and Wilmer whom I saw personally before the day of the shoot itself. And she was the first to know that our own prenup started this whole photography business idea. And we're all thankful that they both took a leap of faith on us.

Zaph's First Birthday

I was shooting my cousin Jana when I received a call from Mary Ann, Zaph's mother. By the next Saturday, we were covering their son's first birthday. In our culture, 1st 7th, 18th and 21st birthdays are big deal.

I bet by the age of 7 Zaph won't even remember what happened on his first birthday. But his parents wanted to make sure that he'll have something to look at to know what happened. They even hired a videographer!See, they were really dedicated to it.

Zaph was sick on his own party but he wasn't frazzled. He stayed awake and would sometimes smile at his guests. By my standard it was a huge party with more than a hundred guests. His parents really prepared for this. There were two clowns who of course performed some magic tricks and also acted as hosts. He had two cakes. The party theme was the movie Cars so it was just expected that one of the cakes had a car on it. The kids also joined with the games. Not many kids were present but they were enough to make the party a fun one.

The party ctually had a double purpose. It was also a christening. So my question was answered why they booked the venue for three hours. After his godparents' speech we learned that everynight for a year, her parents prayed and prayed to God to bless them with a bundle of joy. After two years, Zaph came into their lives. Their prayers were finally answered.

Before the celebration ended, they showed and AVP of the first time he went swimming and the first day he ate solid food. Zaph was so cute in this video, mind you! And they also celebrate monthly his birthday. By the end of the celebration everbody knew and felt the deep love of his parents for him.
